Bi-Axial Geogrids
Geotextiles are permeable fabrics which, when used in association with soil, have the ability to separate, filter, reinforce, protect or drain. As the use of geotextile fabrics has expanded there has been the introduction of geotextile composites and the development of products such as geogrids and meshes. Overall these materials are referred to as geotextiles and related products. All have a wide range of applications and are currently used to advantage in many civil engineering applications including Roads, Airfields, Railroads, Embankments, Retaining Structures, Reservoirs, Canals, Dams, Bank protection and Coastal engineering.
Uni-Axial Geogrids
Uni-axial Geogrids are meshes with elongated apertures made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and are generally used as reinforcement of modular block walls, earth walls and slope and bridge abutments. Their primary characteristic is good creep performance with low strain and high tensile under constant load.
Fiber Glass Geogrids
Uni-axial Geogrids are meshes with elongated apertures made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and are generally used as reinforcement of modular block walls, earth walls and slope and bridge abutments. Their primary characteristic is good creep performance with low strain and high tensile under constant load.
Polyester Geogrids
Polyester Geogrids are manufactured by utilising a complex knitting process using high tenacity, high oriented polyester filament to provide superior engineering and long term design strength properties. Polyester Geogrid is dimensionally stable with uniform network of apertures providing significant tensile reinforcement capacity in two principle directions. The Polyester Geogrid is engineered to be mechanically and chemically stable, in both harsh construction installation phase and in aggressive soil environment (pH level 2.0 – 12.0). Polyester Geogrids are biologically unaffected by soil micro-organisms. A black PVC saturation coating provides further chemical, mechanical, as well as ultraviolet protection.
Geo cells
GEOCELL is a 3D cellular confinement system. Manufactured from permeable geotextile fabric, TERRAM GEOCELL is expanded on-site to form a honeycomb-like structure which can be filled with sand, soil or other site material. This cost effective solution has multiple applications enabling reduced projects costs and lower environmental impact.
